Sardar Ghat

Crowded waterfront at the southernmost tip of the city. This is a gateway from the southern riverine region of Bangladesh.

Ahsan Monzil:

Commonly known as the Pink Palace, it was the residence of the local elite, the khwaja family. It is now a museum.

Lalbagh Fort:

This is actually the starting point of Dhaka city. It was built by the Mughal Prince Azam as the official residence of the Mughal representative in Bengal.

Star Mosque:

A beautifully decorated 100 year old mosque in the old part of Dhaka city.

Dakshwari Temple:

The oldest temple in the city, though recently rebuilt, is one of the interesting place where Hinduism is felt.

Parliament Building:

It is a unique building in the country, designed by the world-famous American architect Louis Kahn. The place and its surrounding areas are very quiet to move around.

On the way you will pass New Market, Carzon Hall, Language Monument, Dhaka University Campus, Supreme Court Building, National Mosque and National Stadium.
