Eid for Everyone


The Eid ul-Azha is is muslim’s festival celebrated annually and an official holiday in Muslim-majority countries around the world.

The day Eid ul-Azha when prophet Ibrahim was going to sacrifice his son but was instructed by God to offer an animal instead. Eid al-Adha means “festival of the sacrifice”.

In the Islamic calendar, Eid ul-Azha occurs on the 10th day of the Dhu al-Hijjah lunar month, and is also the third day of the Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca.

In Bangladesh 2016 the  Eid al-Adha was celebrated in 13th September. On the day all Muslims tried to sacrifice different animals for the name of God. All offices were remain close for 3 days. People moved one place to another to celebrate the day with their family.
